Join the PEI Bluegrass & Old Time Music Society for our Winter Bluegrass Festival March 19-22 2026 – recreating the magic of our outdoor summer bluegrass festival in the Wintertime!
Experience the warmth of Prince Edward Island’s rich Irish & Scottish heritage. Discover the Appalachian traditions of Bluegrass Music anchored this year by headline act Tim O’Brien, renowned for bridging these musical worlds. Vendors and Local artisans will have their artistry on display at the Bluegrass Market with lots of music workshops and late night jams under the stars overlooking the Charlottetown Harbour. Join us as top traditional musicians from the Island and the Maritimes share the stage with world class Appalachian stars, celebrating their shared roots and creating unforgettable memories.
The weekend will be an indoor event packed with tunes and good times featuring bands from the US and Atlantic Canada. The festival aims to bring together the best in local, regional and international Bluegrass and Old Time music artists, luthiers, merchants, as well as fans and promoters from our East Coast region, as well as the New England States.
