PEI Bluegrass and Old Time Music Society
Diversity Inclusion Statement: The PEIBOTMS welcomes all individuals to its music events, working to actively involve and strengthen partnerships with people encouraging them to be part of this organization. Society volunteers learn about new cultures and experiences as new people are welcomed to our events.
The PEI Bluegrass and Old Time Music Society is dedicated to the preservation and advancement of bluegrass in Prince Edward Island. Each year the society hosts a Bluegrass and Old Time Music Festival as well as a number of concerts and other Bluegrass related events.
The society’s ongoing vision is to promote the genres of Bluegrass and Old Time music through offering these events and holding “jam-sessions.”

OUR EVENT SPONSORS
Since 1986 and now for nearly four decades, a dedicated group of volunteers has organized a three-day festival that helped flourish a unique musical genre in our region. As the longest-running festival of its genre in Prince Edward Island, it remains one of Canada’s most popular events, sustained by its enduring fanbase and the grassroots passion of its organizers.
