Over the years the Dundas Plowing Match and Agricultural Fair grounds has become home to many events, shows, and community activities. With recent updates of a 4,000 square foot convention centre, onsite ceilidh hall, and washroom facilities it has proven to be a wonderful location for the PEI Bluegrass & Old Time Music Festival!
Po’ Ramblin’ Boys
Our volunteers mark the field before the festival begins. When you arrive at the gate parkers will guide you to a camp spot for the weekend. You do not have to reserve your site ahead of time. There are no water and electrical hookups. However, you can fill up your water tank with fresh H20; just ask at the Gate upon arrival.
The Fairgrounds are in a great central location with just a 15-20 minute drive to lovely seaside towns Montague, Souris, St. Peters Bay, Cardigan, Fortune, and Georgetown. These areas are well-known for their picturesque scenery and restaurants.
If you are looking for accommodation off-site, there are lovely spots to stay in the nearby towns. Some recommendations from our customers include: The Inn at Fortune Bridge, Blueberry Cove Bed & Breakfast, Cardigan River Inn, The Rodd Brudenell, and the Wheelhouse in Georgetown. All of these are within a 15-20 minute drive to the festival grounds.
