With almost 40 years of teaching and performing music in the heart of Nova Scotia, Roger Stone is a mainstay of music who crosses many genres from maritime to pop to folk to rock to jazz.

His roots hail from beautiful Richmond County Cape Breton where he picked up numerous instrumental and performing skills on guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, Ukulele, male vocal, bodhran along with a touch of button accordion.

Roger has mentored many and you won’t have to look far to find expressions of gratitude from those not only in the music community but in all sectors of society. He has taught all walks of life and that is what he does best. Music is only one facet of one’s experience with Roger. He will add life to your years and years to your life.

Roger does private music lessons of many instruments, lead performing, album production, academic and post secondary preparation (theory) and consultative mentoring for the business of music. His mindfulness based approach is what sets him apart from others when it comes to experiencing music and all that it has to offer.
Roger is now based on Prince Edward Island.
