Over the years the Dundas Plowing Match and Agricultural Fair grounds has become home to many events, shows, and community activities. With recent updates of a 4,000 square foot convention centre, onsite ceilidh hall, and washroom facilities
it has proven to be a wonderful location for the PEI Bluegrass & Old Time Music Festival!
DIRECTIONS
Confederation Bridge/Borden Carleton to Festival Grounds (1.5 hours either option)
Option 1: TCH-1 towards Charlottetown (40 min)
Take By-Pass TCH-Rte 2 (50 min)
Turn right on Rte 4 (Dundas Rd) (6 min)
Turn left on Little River Road (1 min)
Option 2: TCH-1 towards Charlottetown (40 min)
Take By-Pass, Stay on TCH-1 to Rte 3 Cherry Valley (30 min)
Take Rte 3 to Pooles Corner roundabout
Take Rte 4 exit to Litttle River Road (30 min)
Turn left on Little River Road (1 min)
Wood Islands Ferry to Festival Grounds (40 min):
Go North to TCH. Follow Wood Islands Rd #315 to Rte 4 N (23 km)
Take Rte 4 N to Dundas/Little River Rd Rte 314 E (24 km)
Turn right on Little River Rd/PE-314 E

Camping
Festival volunteers will mark the field before the festival begins to prepare for your arrival. At the gate, parkers will guide you to a camp spot for the weekend. You do not reserve sites ahead of time. All sites are rough camping which is included with your Weekend Pass. You can fill up your water tank with fresh water; just ask at the Gate. Campfires are not allowed on the festival grounds. Pets are allowed in the pet zones and must be on a leash.

The Fairgrounds are in a great central location with just a 15-20 minute drive to lovely seaside towns Montague, Souris, St. Peters Bay, Cardigan, Fortune, and Georgetown. These areas are well-known for their picturesque scenery and restaurants.
If you are looking for accommodation off-site, there are lovely spots to stay in the nearby towns. Some recommendations from our customers include: The Inn at Fortune Bridge, Blueberry Cove Bed & Breakfast, Cardigan River Inn, The Rodd Brudenell, and the Wheelhouse in Georgetown; all within a 15-20 minute drive to the festival grounds.
